Principals Conclave – Delhi Chapter
Climate Reality India in partnership with UNESCO organised Delhi chapter of Principals Conclave on “Teaching Sustainable Development Goals and Climate Change Education” on 17th February at UNESCO Auditorium, New Delhi.
The conclave aimed towards sensitizing the heads of educational institutions on SDGs with special focus on environmental goals and climate change. More than 50 academic institutions attended the conclave underlines our commitment to educate on SDGs and climate change.
As the way forward, it was suggested that schools and academic institutions can take at least following sustainable practices: go solar, install rain water harvesting, engage in tree plantations and start recycle, waste management practices in the school campus and build capacity in the schools by training teachers and students on the issues like climate change.
